Welcome to Year 3, Crickets Class where the teacher is Mr Hay and the teaching assistants are Mrs Seare-Derrick and Miss Langdon.

The children will come in at 8:45 where they will be settled by checking their work, solving maths arithmetic questions and getting themselves ready for the day.

Our first lesson of the day will be either Spelling or Handwriting. 

This is next followed by English and Maths takes place after Break time. At 11:35, the class will then have Guided Reading until lunch which is at 12:00.

The afternoon is packed with various subjects ranging from Science, Topic and Art to Modern Foreign Language, Computing and PSHE.

Things your child can have in school.

1. A bag 

2. Water bottle

3. Coat for when it is cold or wet.

4. Hat and apply sun cream when it is hot.

5. Fruit for Break time. 

PE Days are on a Monday and a Thursday

Children are set homework:

Reading 5 x a week

Spellings: Given on a Friday to be tested the following Friday
