The children in Bees Class produced some fantastic project work about their topic (the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings).

Bees had a great time at New Barn Field Centre learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. We went inside a roundhouse, made roman coins, inscribed runes onto chalk and got to see and handle Anglo-Saxon weapons as well as learning about the key events of the period. We had a go at making flour, making butter and making herbal medicines just as they would have done in this time period.
