Year 3 Class - Crickets

Hello and welcome to Year 3

The teacher in Crickets class is Mrs Colville and the teaching assistant is Miss Holiday. Together we will strive to support your child's learning through the year and encourage them to grow as individuals.

We start the day with a fun maths challenge to get their brains warmed up ready!

This is followed by spelling and then Maths which takes us to break time. After break we have English followed by guided reading until lunch which is at 12:00.

The afternoon is packed with various subjects ranging from Science, Religious Education, music, topic and Art to Spanish, Computing and PSHE. We have some exciting learning ahead!

Things your child will need to have in school. Everything needs to be named.

1. A bag 

2. Water bottle

3. Coat for when it is cold or wet.

4. Hat and apply sun cream when it is hot.

5. Fruit for Break time. 

P.E. Kits 

Please can children come to school wearing their PE kits.

Children will have PE on a Monday and Thursday. 

Forest School is on a Wednesday afternoon.

Please can the children bring wellies and raincoats as we will be going out in all weathers!

Children are set homework:

Reading 5 x a week - books are changed Mondays and Thursdays

Spellings: Given on a Friday to be tested the following Friday

TTRockstars - Please ask for logins, at least 20 minutes a week and set on a Friday
