PE - Mondays and Thursday
Please can the children come to school wearing their PE kit
Art - We have had a fantastic day learning about the artist Rachel Ducker, using her work to help inspire us to create a sculpture of the human form.
PE- We are really enjoying our gymnastics this half term. Looking at balancing and using symmetry in our movements. We have worked together to create 4 positions and put them together to create a sequence of movements.
We have really enjoyed our class text 'The Wild Robot'. Look at all the super writing we have done with interesting adjectives, prepositions and conjunctions. We have written setting descriptions to describe the wild forest island.
TT Rockstar challenge - we have had fun today playing against other schools to show them how brilliant we are at our times tables.
DT Day - we have had a brillaint DT day learning all about bread. The history, science behind the yeast and evaluating exiting products by trying different dreads. We designed our own savoury or sweet bread roll and made it. The smell of bread cooking was delightful all round school today!
