School Council
Wareham St Mary Student Council
Meet our school council members.
Each academic year, classes vote in someone to represent their class on the School Council. We're delighted to have the following pupils on board to act as the pupil's voice and contribute their fantastic ideas to the running of the school:
Y3 - Fearne
Y4 - Noah
Y5 - Mia
Y6 - Grace
Here's what our Student Council have been up to...
A Shed Load More Fun For Playtimes This September!
Representatives from the School Council officially opened a new playground storage shed this September as part of a wider initiative to improve the school's outdoor play facilities. The Shed was constructed over the summer by a talented team of volunteer woodworkers from Wareham Area's Men's Shed, who cut the ribbon alongside the pupils.
School Council get their hands dirty!
This month our council representatives turned their hands to a spot of gardening; planting class plants for the school. After writing care guides and giving the plants a name, our fantastic School Council will be presenting the spider plants to each class before half term.
Science Day Winners
After much deliberation the Student Council put their heads together to select winners for the best posters produced for the recent Science Day. With a focus on everything eco, classes had designed posters around their top tips for saving energy and water. Well done everyone for some amazing entries.
