As part of our Harvest celebrations, we collected money for Christian Aid’s Harvest Appeal. We learnt about women in Malawi whose homes and farms had been destroyed by flooding and strong winds. We donated money to help them with their new business of making juice from the baobab.

We learnt that the storms and floods that affected Malawi were caused by climate change, and that climate change will continue to cause extreme weather all over the world. 

Every child in our school made a prayer boat and we sent these images to Cop26 to show our support for climate change. Our prayers asked God to help the world leaders make changes to protect the world from climate change.
